Allophryne relicta Caramaschi, Orrico, Faivovich, Dias, and Solé, 2013, Herpetologica, 69: 482. Holotype: MNRJ 75468, by original designation. Type locality: "Uruçuca (14°35S, 39°17W, 90 m altitude; datum WGS84), State of Bahia, eastern Brazil".

Comment

The sister taxon of Allophryne resplendens + Allophryne ruthveni according to the original publication, where molecular markers, external morphology, and advertisement call were described. Fonseca, Almeida, Nascimento, Moraes, Machado, Bernarde, Costa-Campos, and Carvalho, 2022, Zootaxa, 5138: 196–200, compared the advertisement call with that of Allophryne resplendens and Allophryne ruthveni
