Distribution

Austral forests of Chile and Argentina with a narrow distribution along the eastern slopes of the Andes; in Chile it is distributed from the western slopes of the Cordillera de Nahuelbuta to the Aysen Region on the eastern side of the Patagonian Icefields. In Argentina is is known from the provinces of Neuquen, Rio Negro and Chubut.
