Eleutherodactylus inachus Campbell and Savage, 2000, Herpetol. Monogr., 14: 232. Holotype: UTA A-33440, by original designation. Type locality: "Quebrada Los Chorros, 650 m, Aldea Santa Elena, near San Diego, Zacapa, Guatemala. This locality is located in the Rio Motagua Valley in premontane Dry Forest at about 14° 50′ N, 89° 47′ W."

Middle Motagua Valley and associated areas in east-central Guatemala and the slopes of the Salamá Basin in Baja Verapaz, 500–1400 m elevation.
