Eleutherodactylus sabrinus Campbell and Savage, 2000, Herpetol. Monogr., 14: 239. Holotype: UTA A-24425, by original designation. Type locality: "Las Escobas, 5.1 km WSW Puerto Santo Tomas, 150 m, Montañas del Mico, Izabal, Guatemala. This locality is located on the NE slopes of Cerro las Escobas in Lowland Wet Forest at about 15° 38′N, 88° 41′ W."

Distribution

Foothills of eastern Guatemala including the Montañas del Mico, the eastern portion of the Sierra de las Minas, the northern portion of the Sierra de Merendón, and the Maya Mountains of Belize, where it occurs in rain forest and cloud forest from near sea level to about 900 m elevation; possibly to be found in adjacent Honduras.
