Species World: 324. Type locality: "Golfito, [Cantón de Golfito,] Puntarenas Province", Costa Rica. Savage, 1974, Rev. Biol. Tropical, 22: 91-92, commented on the type locality.

Distribution

Lowland evergreen forests of the Golfo Dulce region of Pacific southwestern Costa Rica and adjacent western Panama, 25–525 m elevation.
