Craugastor zunigai Arias, Hertz, and Parra-Olea, 2019, Amph. Rept. Conserv., 13: 188. Holotype: UCR 22703, by original designation. Distribution

Southwestern Costa Rica, on the Pacific slopes of Cordillera de Talamanca, so far known from Santa María de Pittier, Tres Colinas, Las Alturas de Cotón, and road to Las Tablas (very near the Panama border into which it likely extends), 1500–2100 m elevation.
