Eleutherodactylus juanariveroi Ríos-López and Thomas, 2007, Zootaxa, 1512: 53. Holotype: KU 306997, by original designation. Type locality: "Sabana Seca, Toa Baja Municipality . . ., in a seasonally flooded herbaceous wetland in the vicinity of the US Naval Security Group Activity Sabana Seca (USNS-GASS) and the Caribbean Primate Research Center, Puerto Rico (18° 26.127´ N, 66° 12.092´ W), 10-20 m elevation".

Distribution

Known only from the type locality (Sabana Seca, Toa Baja Municipality, Puerto Rico).

Comment

Most similar to Eleutherodactylus gryllus according to the original publication; in the subgenus Eleutherodactylus by implication. In the Eleutherodactylus (Eleutherodactylus) martinicensis species series, Eleutherodactylus antillensis species group, Eleutherodactylus gryllus species subgroup of Hedges, Duellman, and Heinicke, 2008, Zootaxa, 1737: 58. In the Eleutherodactylus (Eleutherodactylus) antillensis species series, Eleutherodactylus antillensis species group of Padial, Grant, and Frost, 2014, Zootaxa, 3825: 129. Henderson and Powell, 2009, Nat.
