Type locality: "Colombia, Departamento de Antioquia, Municipio Urrao, vereda Calles, Parque Natural Nacional Las Orquídeas, alrededores cabaña Río Calles (Inderena), 1410-1525 m."

Between 1000 and 1900 m elevation in three sites in Antioquia (Antadó, Murrí, and Urrao) and in comparable elevations on the western slope of the Serranía de los Paraguas, Chocó, Colombia.

Comment

Unassigned to species group in the original publication. In the Pristimantis (Pristimantis) unistrigatus species group of Hedges, Duellman, and Heinicke, 2008, Zootaxa, 1737: 128.  Not assignable to species group according to Padial, Grant, and Frost, 2014, Zootaxa, 3825: 127.
