See comments by  Kok and Barrio-Amorós, 2013, Zootaxa, 3694: 75-80. Type locality: "Guaiquinima Tepui, Estado Bolivar, Venezuela, 5° 44′ N 63° 38′ W, 980 m a.s.l., 'Camp 4' . . . . near the great waterfall".

Comment

In the Eleutherodactylus unistrigatus group according to the original publication. In the Pristimantis (Pristimantis) unistrigatus species group of Hedges, Duellman, and Heinicke, 2008, Zootaxa, 1737: 128.
