Comment

In the Pristimantis conspicillatus group according to the original publication (where external morphology and advertisement call were detailed); also of Padial, Grant, and Frost, 2014, Zootaxa, 3825: 125. Giaretta, Teixeira, Bernardes, and Marinho, 2018, Neotropical Biodiversity, 4: 134–137, suggested that no call or morphological differences were evident to separate this species from Pristimantis dundeei but did not remedy the situation taxonomically.  Vaz-Silva, Maciel, Nomura, Morais, Guerra Batista, Santos, Andrade, Oliveira, Brandão, and Bastos, 2020, Guia Ident. Anf. Goiás e Dist. Fed. Brasil Central: 36, provided an account.
