Anaxyrus nevadensis — Here (28 March 2020). Note from DRF. It is unclear to me what the authors are attempting to do with the original formulation of the name inasmuch to get this species into Bufo requires enormous taxonomic realignments in the New and Old Worlds. See comment under Bufonidae.

Known only to occur near and within the spring-fed wetland areas of Lockes Ranch (1460 m elevation), a protected wildlife management area located in Railroad Valley, an east-central desert basin between the Pancake Range and Grand Range of Nye County, Nevada
