Ansonia kraensis Matsui, Khonsue, and Nabhitabhata, 2005, Zool. Sci., Tokyo, 22: 810. Holotype: KUHE 35053, by original designation. Type locality: "Punyaban waterfall (98° 52′ E, 10° 06′ N, 113 m a.s.l., Ranong Province, Thailand".

Distribution

Isthmus of Kra, peninsular Thailand, from the vicinity of Tasan to the vicinity of Kathu Waterfalls; possibly to be found in Tanintharyi Province, peninsular Myanmar.

Grismer, 2006, Zootaxa, 1327: 1327: 1–27, reported that specimens previously reported as Ansonia malayana from Tasan, Chumphon Province, Thailand, are actually of this species. Wood, Grismer, Ahmad, and Senawi, 2008, Herpetologica, 64: 321–340, provided comparative information for this and other species from the Malayan Peninsula. Chan-ard, Cota, and Makchai, 2011, Amph. E.
