Peninsular Thailand (Pattani, Yala, and Narathiwat provinces) from the Isthmus of Kra southward to Malaya (Malaysia) in disjunct populations. See comment.

Sumarli, Grismer, Anuar, Muin, and Quah, 2015, Check List, 11(4, Art. 1679): 6, suspected that a record of Ansonia malayana from Mount Tebu, Terengganu, Malaysia probably applies to Ansonia latifi.
