Bufoides bhupathyi Naveen, Tapley, Chandramouli, Jervis, Babu, Meetei, and Karunakaran, 2023, Biodiversitas, 24: 4621. Holotype: SACON VA 400, by original designation. Type locality: "found in a narrow rock crevice from a dried-out stream, locally known as “Dampa Luei” near Teirei village in Dampa Tiger Reserve, Mamit District, Mizoram, India (23.6874° N, 92.4552° E, 314 m asl)".

Distribution

Currently known only from the Dampa Tiger Reserve, Mamit District, Mizoram, India, 314 m elevation.

Comment

Previously confused with Bufoides meghalayanus but distinguished on the basis of external morphology although the 16s mtDNA data presented are not coherent with currently recognized lineages (DRF).
