Melanophryniscus alipioi Langone, Segalla, Bornschein, and de Sá, 2008, S. Am. J. Herpetol., 3: 1. Holotype: MHNCI 5186, by original designation. Type locality: "Serra do Capivarí (25°07′49.0″S, 48°49′16.9″W; 1491 m altitude), part of the larger Serra do Mar, Campina Grande do Sul, State of Paraná, Brazil".

Comment

Most similar to Melanophryniscus moreirae according to the original publication. Forti, Haddad, Leite, Drummond, Assis, Crivellari, Mello, Garcia, Zornosa-Torres, and Toledo, 2019, PeerJ, 7(e7612): 1–39, reported on advertisement call.
