Hyalinobatrachium mondolfii Señaris and Ayarzagüena, 2001, Rev. Biol. Tropical, 49: 1084. Holotype: MHNLS 12710, by original designation. Type locality: "Primer Raudal del Caño Acoima, afluente del Río Grande (8° 22′ N, 61° 32′ W), 15 msnm., estribaciones de la Serranía de Imataca, Estado Delta Amacuro, Venezuela".

Distribution

Two poorly delimited areas: (1) Leticia, Amazonas, and La Montanita, Caquetá, Colombia; Acre, Brazil; and the Department of Pando in northern Bolivia; and (2) Pará and Amapá, Brazil; Guyana, southern Surinam, and Caño Acoima and Caño Jotajana in the state of Delta Amacuro and along the Río Guarapiche in the state of Monagas, Venezuela; reported in Amazonian Peru at Las Piedras Amazon Center, Tambopata Province, Madre de Dios Department, 207 mm elevation.

In the Hyalinobatrachium fleischmanni group according to the original publication. Señaris and Ayarzagüena, 2005, Rev. Taxonom. Fam. Centrolenidae de Venezuela: 200-207, provided a review of the morphology, natural history, and range of this species. Castroviejo-Fisher, Moravec, Aparicio, Guerrero-Reinhard, and Calderón, 2011, Zootaxa, 2798: 64-68, verified a record for Departamento Pando, Bolivia, by molecular analysis and noted that it seems to be impossible to distinguish this species from Hyalinobatrachium munozorum and Hyalinobatrachium ruedai on the basis of morphological characteristics. Fauna Environ., 57: 51–65, provided a record from La Montañita, Caquetá, Colombia, 276 m elevation, and provided natural history notes. Taucce, Costa-Campos, Carvalho, and Michalski, 2022, Eur. J. Taxon., 836: 96–130, reported on distribution, literature, and conservation status for Amapá, Brazil. Lescure, Dewynter, Frétey, Ineich, Ohler, Vidal, and De Massary, 2022, Bull. Soc. Herpetol. France, 181(5): 1–7, confirmed the species in French Guiana.
