Platymantis parilis Brown and Richards, 2008, Zootaxa, 1888: 56. Holotype: SAMAR56911, by original designation. Type locality: "near Kolopakisa Village, 0-10 m above sea level (07° 36.008′S, 158° 39.092′E), north-western Isabel Isl., Isabel Province, Solomon Islands", Papua New Guinea.
