Liurana vallecula Jiang, Wang, Wang, Li, and Che, 2019, Zool. Res., Kunming, 40: 178. Holotype: KIZ014083, by original designation. Type locality: "the side of Yarlung Zangbo River near Xirang (N29.1776°, E95.0057°, elevation 550 m a.s.l.; . . .), Beibeng, Medog County, southeastern Tibet, China".

Known from the type locality (the side of Yarlung Zangbo River near Xirang, Beibeng, Medog County, southeastern Tibet, 550 m elevation).

Comment

Specimens from Medog,Tibet, China, reported as Liurana medogensis by Borah, Bordoloi, Purkayastha, Das, Dubois, and Ohler, 2013, Herpetozoa, Wien, 26: 39–48, were discussed and some of these specimens were tentatively allocated to this species by Jiang, Wang, Wang, Li, and Che, 2019, Zool. Res., Kunming, 40: 7. Che, Jiang, Yan, and Zhang, 2020, Amph. Rept. Tibet: 314–316, provided a detailed account for Tibet, China.
