Oophaga anchicayensis Posso-Terranova and Andrés, 2018, Mol. Ecol., 27: 3443. Holotype: UVC‐11583, by original designation. Distribution

Chocó region of northwestern Colombia (additionally to the type locality, populations of this species are distributed from the surrounding areas of Tutunendo, Chocó throughout Pacurita, Chocó, Bagado, Chocó to Vereda La Angostura, Playa de Oro, Chocó), at the eastern banks of the Atratoand San Juan rivers,
