Gastrotheca zeugocystis Duellman, Lehr, Rodríguez, and von May, 2004, Sci. Pap. Nat. Hist. Mus. Univ. Kansas, 32: 6. Holotype: MUSM 18675, by original designation. Type locality: "Cordillera de Carpish (09° 43′ 58.2 S, 76° 06′ 41.9 W), 2920 m, Provincia de Huánuco, Departamento de Huánuco, Peru".
