Type locality: "fica a margem do km. 4.5 da trilha ao Campo das Antas no Parque Nacional Serra dos Orgãos, em Terezópolis, a 1200 km. [Sic] de altitude e 22° 26′ 14″ de Lat. Sul.", Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Also given in English as "The Organ Mountains National Park at Theresópolis. Alt. 1200 ms. Above sea level at km. 4.5 of the trail to the top of the Range; 22° 26′ 14″ Lat. S.", Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
