Type locality: "Granjas Infantiles 'El Gran Cuidadano Padre Luna', Vereda Las Marias, Municipio de Alban, Cundinanarca, Colombia, western slope of Cordillera Oriental, 2060 m (ca. 4° 45′ N, 74° 50′ W)".
