Hyla salvaje Wilson, McCranie, and Williams, 1985, Herpetologica, 41: 141. Holotype: KU 195459, by original designation. Type locality: "Quebrada Grande (15° 05′ N, 85° 55′ W), 1370 m elevation, Depto. Copán, Honduras".

English Names

Copan Treefrog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 57).

Distribution

Known only from the type locality in the Sierra de Espíritu Santo and in the Sierra de Omoa, northwestern Honduras and in adjacent eastern Guatemala in the Sierra de Unión, 1370–1450 m elevation.
