Distribution

Humid montane and pine-oak forest at elevations of 700–1700 m on the northern slopes of the Chiapan Highlands of Tabasco and Chiapas in Mexico and the Sierra de Cuchumatanes in Guatemala; also in the upper Grijalva Basin in Chiapas, Mexico, and Guatemala.
