Known from a remnant patch of forest at the type locality, in the Ucayali River basin, Coronel Portillo Province, Amazonian east-central Peru, 160 m elevation.

Comment

In the Scinax rostratus group according to the original publication, where it was noted that the species appears to be threatened by habitat destruction.
