Extreme southern Guyana; French Guiana; Biological Reserve Maicuru and Caxiuanã National Forest in Pará State, and eastern Pará and Amapá, Brazil; southern Suriname.

Lescure and Marty, 2000, Collect. Patrimoines Nat., Paris, 45: 192–194, provided a photo and brief account for French Guiana. See Cole, Townsend, Reynolds, MacCulloch, and Lathrop, 2013, Proc. Biol. Soc. Washington, 125: 4198, for brief account and records for Guyana. Avila-Pires, Hoogmoed, and Rocha, 2010, Bol. Mus. Parense Emilio Goeldi, Cienc. Nat., 5 : 13–112, reported the species in Brazil for the first time, in the Biological Reserve Maicuru, located in the southern Guiana Shield in Pará State, Brazil. Pinheiro, Santos-Costa, and Bitar, 2022, Herpetol. Notes, 15: 199–201, reported the species from Caxiuanã National Forest, also from Pará State, Brazil, situated on the southern bank of the Amazon, between the Xingu and Tocantins Rivers. Tavares-Pinheiro, Lopes, Figueiredo, Sousa, Costa-Campos, and Fouquet, 2022, Check List, 18: 405–410, reported the species from the Municipality of Porto Grande in the state of Amapá, Brazil, and provided a dot map including a record from southern Surinam and eastern Pará, Brazil. Taucce, Costa-Campos, Carvalho, and Michalski, 2022, Eur. J. Taxon., 836: 96–130, reported on distribution, literature, and conservation status for Amapá, Brazil.
