Litoria umbonata Tyler and Davies, 1983, Copeia, 1983: 803. Holotype: AMNH 43766, by original designation. Type locality: "Baliem River Valley, 1600 m . . . Irian Jaya [now Papua], . . . New Guinea", Indonesia.

Comment

In the Litoria wisselensis group according to the original publication. Günther, 2003, Faun. Abh. Staatl. Mus. Tierkd., Dresden, 24: 212, provided an additional record for this species. Menzies, 2006, Frogs New Guinea & Solomon Is.: 123, provided a brief account and regarded this as a member of his Litoria rubella group.
