Philadelphia, 123: 350; incorrectly reported as lost by Duellman, 1974, Herpetologica, 30: 105–112 (D.C. Cannatella In  Duellman, 1985, in Frost (ed.), Amph. Species World: 200). Type locality: "Moyabamba [= Moyobamba], [Departamento San Martín,] Peru".

English Names

Starry Leaf Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 62).

Distribution

Very poorly known with isolated records in Ecuador (Napo and Orellan Provinces), Peru (Loreto and San Martín Provinces), and Colombia (Cauquetá Province). Probably more widespread in the upper Amazon Basin than currently understood.
