Telmatobius somuncurensis Cei, 1969, J. Herpetol., 3: 14. Holotype: IBAUNC 1982/1, by original designation. Type locality: "El Rincon stream, 60 km SSW from Valcheta, Río Negro, Argentina, on the basaltic slopes of Somuncura plateau (700 m)".

Distribution

Known only from the type locality on the Somuncura Plateau, Rio Negro Province, Argentina, 500-700 m elevation.

Comment

Type locality (the only known range) has been destroyed by goats and cattle (pers. comm., R. Etheridge to DRF). Reviewed (as Telmatobius somuncurensis) by Cei, 1980, Monit. Zool.
