Distribution

Mount Nankun in Longmen County, Guangdong Province, China; inhabits forest floor, leaf litter and the nearby undergrowth rocky mountainous streams (2–3 m wide) surrounded by moist subtropical evergreen broadleaved forests at elevations between 300–600 m 138.

 Lyu, Qi, Wang, Zhang, Zhao, Zeng, Wan, Yang, Mo, and Wang, 2023, Zool. Res., Kunming, 44: 435, provided an account and placed it in their Borneophrys boettgeri group.
