Albericus gunnari Menzies, 1999, Aust. J. Zool., 47: 355. Holotype: UP 5240, by original designation. Type locality: "Forest on steep slopes by Aieme Creek, a tributary of the Musgrave River (9° 30′ S, 147° 37′ E), Central Province, altitude 450 m,", Papua New Guinea.

Asterophrys gunnari — Dubois, Ohler, and Pyron, 2021, Megataxa, 5: 477, by implication.

Distribution

Known only from the type locality in Central Province and 40 k to the northeast of the type locality, also in Central Province, Papua New Guinea.

Comment

Shea and Kraus, 2007, Zootaxa, 1514: 37-60, commented on types. Kraus, 2010, Herpetol. Rev., 41: 246-248, provided the first record away from the type locality.
