Chiasmocleis haddadi Peloso, Sturaro, Forlani, Gaucher, Motta, and Wheeler, 2014, Bull. Am. Mus. Nat. Hist., 386: 63. Holotype: MNHNP 2011.0139, by original designation. Type locality: "Montagne Kotika (03° 56′ 00″ N/54° 11′ 05″ W, 700 m), French Guiana".

Distribution

Known from the type locality on the montagne Kotika and Mont Bakra in French Guiana; southern and central Suriname and likely into adjacent extreme northern Pará, Brazil.

In their Chiasmocleis hudsoni clade of Peloso, Sturaro, Forlani, Gaucher, Motta, and Wheeler, 2014, Bull. Am. Mus. Nat. Hist., 386: 20.  Fouquet, Vacher, Kadosoe, Jairam, and Ouboter, 2015, Herpetol. Notes, 8: 63–68, reported the species from the Sipaliwini Nature Reserve, southern Surinam. See Fouquet, Vidal, and Dewynter, 2019, Zoosystema, 41: 371–372, for comments on this species and an unnamed cryptic species in southern French Guiana and adjacent Brazil. Taucce, Costa-Campos, Carvalho, and Michalski, 2022, Eur. J. Taxon., 836: 96–130, reported on distribution, literature, and conservation status for Amapá, Brazil. Redelimited by the recognition of Chiasmocleis jacki by Fouquet, Rodrigues, and Peloso, 2022, Zootaxa, 5200: 1–23.
