Distribution

Mostly restricted to mid-elevation forests (1612 to 2064 m elevation), west of the Great Rift Valley in Ethiopia and north of the Geba River (tributary of the Baro River); two individuals noted in the original publication, from Asgori, between Addis Ababa and Ambo (8.9799°N, 38.0241°E, 2370 m a.s.l.) also are of this species.
