Distribution

Clear streams with torrents in eastern Bolikhamxay and Xieng Khouang Provinces of northern Laos and southern Nghe An Province of northern Vietnam.

Previously confused with Amolops cremnobatus, according to the original publication, where this member of the Amolops larutensis group was distinguished by adult morphology, coloration, and mt- and nuDNA molecular markers.
