Clear streams with torrents in western Bolikhamxay and eastern Xaysomboun Provinces of northern Laos.

Comment
Previously confused with Amolops cremnobatus, according to the original publication, where this member of the Amolops larutensis group was distinguished by larval and adult morphology, coloration, and mt- and nuDNA molecular markers.
