Comment

Chan-ard, Cota, and Makchai, 2011, Amph. E. Region Thailand: 142, detailed the range in Thailand. Reported from Myanmar by Dever, Fuiten, Konu, and Wilkinson, 2012, Copeia, 2012: 57–76, who  removed this name from the synonymy of Amolops marmoratus but did not address it further. Mulcahy, Lee, Miller, Chand, Thura, and Zug, 2018, ZooKeys, 757: 95, provided a genetically confirmed record from Taninthary Division, southern Myanmar. Zug and Mulcahy, 2020 "2019", Amph. Rept. S. Tanintharyi: 52–53, provided a brief account for South Tanintharyi, peninsular Myanmar. Amolops latopalmatus is a possible senior synonym of Amolops panhai according to Wang, Bhattarai, Wu, Che, and Siler, 2020, Zootaxa, 4819: 143–158. In the Amolops marmoratus group of Wu, Yan, Stuart, Prendini, Suwannapoom, Dahn, Zhang, Cai, Xu, Jiang, Chen, Lemmon, Lemmon, Raxworthy, Orlov, Murphy, and Che, 2020, Mol. Phylogenet. Evol., 144 (106701): 1–13, who discussed molecular phylogenetics. In the Amolops marmoratus group of Jiang, Ren, Lyu, Wang, Wang, Lv, Wu, and Li, 2021, Zool.
