Distribution

Elevations of 1200–3200 m from central Jalisco aeast through northern Michoacán and the eastern part of the state of México and Morelos, north through Tlaxcala to Queretaro, eastern Hidalgo, and south through central Puebla and a small portion of western Veracruz to the highlands of northwestern Oaxaca, Mexico.
