Mercurana myristicapalustris Abraham, Pyron, Ansil, Zachariah, and Zachariah, 2013, Zootaxa, 3640: 183. Holotype: TNHM, by original designation. Type locality: "from bushes at the periphery of a temple compound, Arippa (8.8392N, 77.0314E, altitude approximately 184m ASL), near Kulathupuzha Reserve Forest, Kollam district, Kerala, India."
