Philautus tanu Meegaskumbura, Manamendra-Arachchi, and Pethiyagoda, 2009, Zootaxa, 2122: 62. Holotype: WHT 6348, by original designation. Type locality: "Kanneliya Forest Reserve (near Galle), alt. 45 m (6°15′N, 80°20′E)", Sri Lanka.

Distribution

Currently known only from the Kanneliya and Pituwela Forest Reserves, Sri Lanka, in open areas adjacent to rainforest.
