Rhacophorus norhayatii Chan and Grismer, 2010, Zootaxa, 2505: 42. Holotype: UKMHC 714, by original designation. Type locality: " Bunker Trail (01°51.759 N, 103°53.186 E; 20 m asl.), Gunung Panti Bird Sanctuary in the Gunung Panti Forest Reserve, Johor, Peninsular Malaysia".

Peninsular Myanmar (southern Tanintharyi) and southern Thailand (Narathiwat province) to peninsular Malaysia.

Confused with Rhacophorus reinwardtii prior to its naming according to the original publication. Chan-ard, Cota, and Makchai, 2011, Amph. E.
