Rhinatrema uaiuai Maciel, Sampaio, Hoogmoed, and Schneider, 2018, S. Am. J. Herpetol., 13: 290. Holotype: MPEG 26477, by original designation. Type locality: "Serra do Acaraí, ESEC Grão-Pará Norte (01°17′7.51″N, 58°41′45.24″W; 500 m elevation), municipality of Oriximiná, State of Pará, Brazil".
