Type locality: "Cillapata (ca. 1.5 km NNE Augiumarca, approximatley 10° 43′ 52″ S; 75° 42′ 48″ W) at 2900 m . . . , Distrito de Paucartambo, Pro-Paucartambo", Peru.

Distribution

Known from several localities at elevations of 2400–3000 m on the Amazonian slopes of the Cordillera Oriental in the Provincia de Pasco, Peru.

Comment

In the Eleutherodactylus (Eleutherodactylus) conspicillatus group, most similar to Eleutherodactyls rhabdolaemus, according to the original publication. In the Pristimantis peruvianus species group of Hedges, Duellman, and Heinicke, 2008, Zootaxa, 1737: 126; this reformulated as the Pristimantis danae species group by Padial, Grant, and Frost, 2014, Zootaxa, 3825: 125.
