Comment

Likely the sister species of Eleutherodactylus galdi according to the original publication. Lynch and Glavis-Peñuela, 2004, in Rueda-Almonacid et al. (eds.), Libro Rojo Anf. Colombia: 265–268, provided an account and map. In the Pristimantis galdi species group of Hedges, Duellman, and Heinicke, 2008, Zootaxa, 1737: 122, and of Padial, Grant, and Frost, 2014, Zootaxa, 3825: 126. See photograph, map, description of geographic range and habitat, and conservation status (as Eleutherodactylus trepidotus) in Stuart, Hoffmann, Chanson, Cox, Berridge, Ramani, and Young, 2008, Threatened Amph.
