Pristimantis urani Rivera-Correa and Daza-R., 2016, Acta Herpetol., Firenze, 11: 33. Holotype: MHUA-A 7471,by original designation. Type locality: "Colombia, Departamento de Antioquia, Municipio de Urrao, Corregimiento La Encarnaci.n, Vereda El Maravillo, (6.30’36” N, 76.08’40” W; 2295 m a.s.l.)".

Distribution

Known only from type locality in the Municipio de Urrao at elevations ca. 2300 m , in cloud forest on the north-western flank of the Cordillera Occidental, Antioquia department, Colombia.

Comment

In the Pristimantis lacrimosus group and the sister taxon of Pristimantis brevifrons according to the original publication. Placed in the new Pristimantis boulengeri species group by González-Durán, Targino, Rada, and Grant, 2017, Zootaxa, 4243: 42–74. Placed in the Pristimantis boulengeri group and compared with others in this group by Patiño-Ocampo, Duarte-Marín, and Rivera-Correa, 2022, Rev. Latinoam. Herpetol., 5: 60–90.
