Distribution

Known from its type locality (Cajanuma, Parque Nacional Podocarpus, Provincia de Loja, on the paramos of the Nudo de Cajanuma, at elevations between 3300 and 3400 m, on the Cordillera Oriental of the Andes of southern Ecuador.

Comment

Unassigned to species group in the original publication, although the authors noted its morphological similarity to members of the former Pristimantis orcesi group.
