Pristimantis latro Araujo de Oliveira, Rodrigues, Kaefer, Pinto, and Hernández-Ruz, 2017, ZooKeys, 687: 113. Holotype:LZATM 467, by original designation. Type locality: "municipality of Anapu, Pará State, Brazil (3°9'28.15"S; 51°27'51.67"W)".

Known from the municipalities of Anapu, Senador Jose Porfirio, Altamira, Medicilândia, Brasil Novo, Uruará and Flona Tapajós regions located in the region between the rivers Xingu and Tapajós and between the  Xingu and Tocantins–Araguaia in Pará state, Brazil. See comment. 


In the Pristimantis conspicillatus group and the sister taxon of Pristimantis chiastonotus, according to the original publication.
