Distribution

Amazonian evergreen lowland forest of southern Ecuador in Napo, Sucumbíos, and Orellana Provinces, and two localities from Putumayo and Caquetá Departments in Colombia, up to 593 m elevation.

In the Pristimantis acuminatus group, and previous confused with Pristimantis acuminatus, according to the original publication.
