Distribution

Known from three localities in the western foothills from Pichincha, Imbbabura, and Junín, Ecuador, 1400 to 2600 m elevation.

Comment

Previously confused with Pristimantis calcarulatus, with which it is morphologically indistinguishable, according to the original publication.
