Pristimantis yantzaza Valencia, Dueñas, Székely, Batallas-Revelo, and Pulluquitín, 2017, Zootaxa, 4353: 451. Holotype: FHGO 9962, by original designation. Distribution

Known only from five localities in the province of Zamora Chinchipe, Ecuador, all in the Cordillera del Condor (La Zarza, Colibrí, Mirador, and Las Peñas), (Cerro Plateado), in evergreen montane forest at 1200 to 1800 m elevation.

Comment

 Included in the Pristimantis unistrigatus clade of the Pristimantis unistrigatus group as delimited by Mônico, Koch, Ferrão, Fernandes, Marques, Chaparro, Rodrigues, Lima, and Fouquet, 2024, Mol. Phylogenet. Evol., 108203: 1–19, on molecular grounds (mtDNA and nuDNA genes).
