Rhinella yunga Moravec, Lehr, Cusi, Córdova, and Gvoždík, 2014, ZooKeys, 371: 41. Holotype: MUSM 31097, by original designation. Peruvian Earless Toad (Stynoski, Trama, Rizo Patrón, Tapia, and Hoke, 2020, S. Am. J. Herpetol., 15: 85). 

Distribution

Found only in two habitat islands of the buffer zones surrounding the Yanachaga-Chemillén National Park and the Pui Pui Protected Forest in the Selva Central, Peru, 1800 to 2230 m elevation. 

Comment

In the Rhinella margaritifera group according to the original publication. Stynoski, Trama, Rizo Patrón, Tapia, and Hoke, 2020, S. Am. J. Herpetol., 15: 85–96, reported on calls, larvae, female competition and reproductive ecology.
